Automatic Powder Coating Production Line for Diverse Metal Parts
Flexible Powder Coating Solution for Various Metal Components
This automatic powder coating production line is designed for coating metal parts of various sizes, shapes, and structural configurations. Suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, the system combines automated electrostatic powder spraying with manual touch-up stations to ensure consistent coating quality and complete coverage, even on complex workpieces.
The powder spray booth is constructed from high-quality PVC, providing excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and long service life. Workpieces are transported through the production process by a Power & Free overhead conveyor system, while manual loading and unloading provide flexibility for handling products with different dimensions and production requirements.

Powder Coating Process
1. Surface Preparation: Before coating, workpieces are cleaned to remove oil, grease, dust, and other contaminants. Proper surface preparation ensures excellent powder adhesion and coating performance.
2. Pretreatment: The cleaned workpieces undergo chemical pretreatment to improve corrosion resistance and coating adhesion. Depending on the product requirements, the process may include:
Degreasing
Chemical cleaning
Phosphating
Chromate or chrome-free conversion coating
3. Drying: After pretreatment, the workpieces pass through a drying oven to remove residual moisture. A clean and dry surface is essential for achieving high-quality powder coating.
4. Electrostatic Powder Application: Electrostatically charged powder is applied to grounded workpieces using automatic spray guns. Manual touch-up stations provide additional coating for recessed areas, corners, and complex geometries, ensuring complete and uniform coverage.
5. Powder Curing: The coated parts enter the curing oven, where controlled heating melts and chemically cross-links the powder coating, forming a smooth, durable, and corrosion-resistant finish.
6. Cooling: Following curing, the workpieces are cooled under controlled conditions to stabilize the coating and preserve its mechanical and aesthetic properties.
7. Quality Inspection: Finished products are inspected to verify:
Coating thickness
Surface appearance
Adhesion performance
Overall coating quality
Only qualified products proceed to packaging or subsequent manufacturing processes.
