Every coating line starts with engineering. At CHG, equipment selection is only one part of the design process. Before manufacturing begins, we evaluate the workpiece, required production capacity, coating process, conveyor concept, available factory space and material flow to develop a practical production-line layout. Our engineering work includes both 2D CAD layout design and 3D visualization, helping customers understand how the complete coating system will fit into their factory before equipment production starts. The examples below are selected from different coating-line projects and are intended to demonstrate our engineering and layout capabilities.  2D CAD Layout Design 2D layouts are used to define the overall production-line arrangement, equipment dimensions, conveyor routing, operating areas and required factory space.   Depending on the project, the layout may include: Pretreatment systems Powder coating booths Liquid painting equipment Drying and curing ovens Power & Free conveyors Continuous overhead conveyors Loading and unloading stations Cooling areas Shot blasting equipment Inspection and auxiliary areas The objective is not simply to fit equipment into the available building, but to create a practical production flow with sufficient space for operation, maintenance and material handling. 3D Design and Visualization For selected projects, CHG also develops 3D models to provide a clearer understanding of the proposed system.     3D visualization can help customers evaluate: Equipment positioning Conveyor routing Workpiece movement Factory space utilization Loading and unloading arrangements Relative equipment height Access and maintenance areas This is particularly useful for complex layouts or projects involving large workpieces, overhead conveyors or limited factory space. From Production Requirements to Engineering Layout A coating-line layout is developed around the actual production requirement. Our typical design process considers: Workpiece → Production Capacity → Coating Process → Conveyor Concept → Equipment Configuration → 2D Layout → 3D Visualization Because every factory and product is different, CHG does not rely on one fixed coating-line layout. The engineering concept is developed according to the customer's actual production conditions.

The workpieces coated by this automatic powder coating line are shelves, and the length of the hangers is 13.5 meters. The material of the spray booth is PP, and the spraying method combines automatic gun spraying and additional manual coating, and the production line adopts the power & free overhead system, and the parts are loaded and unloaded manually.                             

During the project process, our company communicated the specific details of the project according to the customer's needs, designed the equipment size of each part of the production line according to the size of the site, drew drawings, continuously revised and adjusted, and finally completed the design of a complete electrophoretic coating production line. In the production process of the factory, it is carried out in strict accordance with the drawings, the product quality is strictly controlled, and the progress is constantly communicated. After the arrival of the goods, our company sent workers abroad to install and guide the use.
