Powder Coating Production Line for Diverse Metal Parts
Flexible and Efficient Powder Coating Solution
This automated powder coating production line is designed for metal parts of various sizes, shapes, and structural configurations. It combines high-efficiency automated powder spraying with manual touch-up capability, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications requiring consistent coating quality and flexible production.
The spray booth is constructed from high-quality PVC, providing excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. A Power & Free overhead conveyor system transports workpieces smoothly through each production stage, while manual loading and unloading ensure flexible handling of different part geometries and production requirements.
The combination of automatic electrostatic spraying and supplementary manual coating ensures complete powder coverage, including recessed areas, complex contours, and difficult-to-reach surfaces.

Powder Coating Process Flow
1. Surface Preparation: Workpieces are thoroughly cleaned to remove oil, grease, dust, and other contaminants. Proper surface preparation ensures strong powder adhesion and consistent coating performance.
2. Pre-Treatment: Chemical pretreatment improves corrosion resistance and coating adhesion. Depending on product requirements, the process may include:
Degreasing
Water rinsing
Phosphating
Chromate or chrome-free conversion coating
3. Drying: After pretreatment, the workpieces pass through a drying oven to completely remove residual moisture, creating the ideal surface condition for powder application.
4. Electrostatic Powder Application: Electrostatically charged powder is applied using automatic spray guns to achieve uniform coating thickness. Manual spray stations are available for touch-up work on complex geometries and areas requiring additional coverage.
5. Powder Curing: The coated workpieces enter a curing oven, where controlled heating melts and chemically cross-links the powder to form a smooth, durable, and impact-resistant coating with excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance.
6. Cooling: Following curing, the workpieces are cooled under controlled conditions to stabilize the coating and maintain its appearance and mechanical properties.
7. Quality Inspection: Each finished product undergoes comprehensive quality inspection, including:
Coating thickness measurement
Surface appearance inspection
Adhesion testing
Overall coating quality verification
Only qualified products proceed to packaging or subsequent manufacturing processes.
