Powder Coating Production Line for Electrical Control Cabinets
This powder coating production line is specially designed for the surface finishing of steel electrical control cabinets and enclosure components. The system combines automatic powder application with manual touch-up spraying to achieve consistent coating quality, even on complex cabinet structures and recessed areas.
The powder spray booth is manufactured from high-quality PP (polypropylene), offering excellent chemical resistance, easy maintenance, and long service life. Material handling is accomplished through a suspended overhead conveyor system with lifting stations, ensuring smooth product transfer and efficient workflow throughout the coating process.
Production Process
The line is designed to optimize both coating quality and production efficiency through a carefully controlled sequence of operations:
Key Features
Automatic + Manual Powder Application for optimal coating quality and flexibility.
PP Powder Spray Booth with excellent corrosion resistance and easy maintenance.
Suspended Conveyor System with lifting stations for efficient material handling.
Step-by-Step Pretreatment Process ensuring superior coating adhesion.
Continuous Automatic Spraying combined with manual touch-up capability.
High-Quality Curing System for durable and uniform coating performance.
Flexible Design suitable for electrical cabinets, control enclosures, switchgear housings, and other sheet metal products.
Powder Coating Process
1. Surface Preparation
The process begins with thorough cleaning to remove oil, dust, and contaminants from the metal surface, creating the foundation for strong coating adhesion.
2. Pretreatment
Chemical pretreatment processes such as degreasing, phosphating, and rinsing improve corrosion resistance and prepare the substrate for powder coating.
3. Drying
After pretreatment, workpieces are dried completely to eliminate residual moisture and ensure coating quality.
4. Powder Application
Electrostatically charged powder particles are applied using automatic and manual spray guns, creating a uniform coating layer across the entire surface.
5. Curing
The coated parts pass through a curing oven where the powder melts and cross-links, forming a tough, durable, and attractive finish.
6. Cooling
Controlled cooling stabilizes the coating and preserves its mechanical and aesthetic properties.
7. Quality Inspection
Finished products undergo inspection for coating thickness, appearance, adhesion, and overall finish quality to ensure compliance with production standards.
