Aluminum Anodizing Line for Automotive Parts
This fully automated aluminum anodizing line is specially developed for automotive component surface treatment, delivering stable operation, high production efficiency, and consistent finishing quality. The system adopts a continuous multi-tank process configuration integrated with an intelligent transfer mechanism, allowing smooth operation from loading through final unloading.
The line incorporates a complete treatment sequence, including surface pre-treatment, anodizing, electrolytic coloring, sealing, and drying. The pre-treatment area combines degreasing, ultrasonic cleaning, alkaline etching, chemical or electro polishing, neutralization, and multi-stage rinsing to ensure the aluminum surface is thoroughly prepared before anodizing.
The anodizing section is equipped with several large-capacity anodizing tanks (approximately 4300L each), combined with circulation filtration systems, plate heat exchangers, and industrial cooling units. These systems maintain accurate process temperatures and help ensure stable oxide layer formation with consistent quality.
For surface finishing, the production line supports electrolytic coloring and multiple immersion treatment stages to achieve different appearance and performance requirements. Advanced sealing technologies—including cold sealing, medium-temperature sealing, and hot sealing—work together with multi-stage deionized water rinsing to significantly improve corrosion resistance and coating durability. Final drying ovens complete the process and ensure reliable product quality.
To improve sustainability and operational efficiency, the system also integrates a complete water treatment and recycling solution. This includes pure water generation systems with quartz sand and activated carbon filtration, ultrafiltration equipment, and recycling/refining units. Separate wastewater collection systems for acidic, alkaline, phosphate-containing, and electrophoresis-related wastewater help the line comply with automotive industry environmental standards.
The production line utilizes high-performance industrial components such as 30–40 T/H filtration systems, PVDF circulation pumps, plate heat exchangers, and centralized electrical control systems to ensure reliable automated operation. The overall layout also incorporates buffer zones, transfer carts, and convenient maintenance access, improving both productivity and plant management efficiency.
