Powder Coating Line Process Overview

1. Surface Preparation

The process begins with thorough cleaning and degreasing of the aluminum profiles. This step removes oils, dust, and contaminants, ensuring strong powder adhesion and preventing coating defects.

2. Pre-Treatment

After cleaning, the profiles undergo pre-treatment to enhance adhesion and corrosion resistance. Depending on requirements, this may include chemical cleaning, phosphating, or chromate conversion coating. These treatments optimize surface condition and improve coating performance.

3. Drying

Profiles are then conveyed through a drying oven to remove residual moisture. A fully dried surface is essential for uniform powder deposition and long-term coating durability.

5. Curing

6. Cooling

After curing, the products are cooled to stabilize the coating film. Proper cooling helps maintain gloss, color consistency, and overall surface quality.

7. Quality Inspection

A final inspection verifies coating thickness, adhesion strength, visual appearance, and overall finish quality. Only products that meet the required specifications proceed to packing or further processing.
